I'm fortunate enough to be a 'call in case of emergency' writer for ESPN, The Vault, Kohler, and other select clients.
The assignments usually (but not always) come on the eve of a production where all involved feel that the sold-in concept needs help - a comedic punch up, logic adjustment, and/or multiple options that won’t interfere with a tight budget and shooting schedule.
I love getting those calls. Challenges are what this gig is all about. Here are a few of the more interesting challenges.
