In mid-March of 2020, COVID-19 upended the world. Immediately, our Cavalry team had to rework all of our plans for Constellation… all while figuring out how to work remotely.

As the ad world churned out “in these troubling times” ads reminding everyone that we were “together apart”, we took a different path. And what we did resulted in Modelo’s largest week of sales… ever.

With headlines dominated by the pandemic, murder hornets, confirmation of UFOs, and Trump claiming he was being treated worse than Lincoln, we managed to turn America’s attention to Modelo.

How?

By creating new ideas out of old work and launching #CincUp… a socially-based campaign that brought consumers, Hollywood stars, musicians, and athletes together on Cinco de Mayo to toast our nation’s first responders.
